One of the latest games to show up on Microsoft's new Community Games Portal for the XBox 360 is Tail Gun Charlie. (…)
Shortfuse Entertainment, the makers of Colosseum for the XBox 360 Community Games system appear to have a gem in the works for release of the new Microsoft Portal. Although only a video has been shown it appears that you duke it out with others in the Roman Colosseum via melee combat. The graphics are top notch and the production quality is really good for an indie project. This game is one to watch for release.
World Revolution, also code named Missile Command Revolved, is a tribute by the author to Atari's Missile Command game is looks like it fits the part. You play on a complete 3D rotatable Earth and direct missiles to fire from silos across North America to intercept ICBMs from enemy countries. The difficulty starts out easy enough and looks to scale dramatically to provide a very challenging the experience. The graphics are top notch and the game looks to be one of the better ones coming out for the XBox 360 Community Games Portal assuming they don't run into legal issues with Atari. (…)
Another Awesome Game, or AAG as it's called on the XBox 360 Community Games Portal, looks to be one of the more unique games coming out for the new CG Portal. The graphic design is interesting in that it blends old-school platforming aspects with hand-drawn graphics and nice special weapon f/x. In the end the game is best described as a 2D platformer. The authors have gone out of their way to add style to the game and either it will get very annoying (the videos of the author's pets done Blair Witch style are a little over the top) or add to the experience. I'm very interested in this title at the end of the day though and look forward to playing the demo. (…)
Organon, "A 3D Shooting Game" as described by it's author for the XBox 360 Community Games Portal looks to be a first person space-sim in which you fly around an arena in 3D space shooting cubes. As you clear stages you are presented with more cubes and obstacles to navigate in getting to the end of the round. I'm interested to see what the gameplay turns out like in the final version as the current one look a bit shallow. Overall the graphics and presentation is appealing and there is a video to view the gameplay. (…)
