Bloc - XBox 360 Community Game

Bloc is a new twist on the top-down shooter. Destroy blocks by firing like-colored orbs while dodging a swarm of enemies.

Bloc, by Metacreature Games, is one of the games included in the new XBox 360 Community Games center and is available for purchase for 200 points.  When I played Bloc, the first thought that hit me was "it's a floating simon game!"  For those of you over 30 you know that there used to be a sound matching game called Simon that had 4 large colored buttons on it that lit up and played sounds.  You had to receate the order the buttons lit up and sounded off.  Anyways, I digress… In Bloc you rotate a sphere that shoots colors based on the direction you are shooting and the color pointing in that direction.  Your objective is to shoot like-colored blocks and this adds an interesting twist as you must constantly rotate to face the appropriate color.
