The Story

In the year 2050 the Earth’s climate changes dramatically.  The ice caps melt and the world’s population spirals into disarray due to immense flooding and changes in the environment.  Twenty years later in 2070 massive environmental policies are adopted by the free countries of the world to stop further damage to the fragile ecosystem and start to improve conditions.

You are part of an elite military organization created to protect the environment from further damage.  Your job is to seek out those that wish to cause harm to the ecosystem for personal gain.  To do this you operate the most advanced weapon platform in the world known as the EXcraft.  The EXcraft is a helicopter capable of carrying multiple weapons and employs a shield system when equipped properly.

The main polluter of the world is a coalition of dictatorships known as The Smog.  They have built bases around the world by selling non-clean burning fuels on the black market.  They use the island bases to violate the environment policies for profit and threaten to damage the ecosystem.  You must use your EXcraft to destroy bases of The Smog in return for donations from free world nations.  Use the donations to equip your EXcraft so you can take on the most difficult Smog installations.  Hurry before it is too late!

Game Designer Tips and Tricks!

1. Your attack helicopter can take a LOT of damage - Your helicopter was designed to take a ton of punishment.  This means you don't have to avoid every bullet that comes your way.

2. You can shoot farther than the enemy - Although the enemy can see you from a good distance, especially when they have radar up, you can shoot farther than they can a good amount of time.  Use distance to your advantage.

3. Enemies lead their shots - The enemy is not stupid in the game and will match your speed to their shots so they hit where you "will" be.  Don't be distraught though as you can stop short of where their bullets are going and ping-pong back and forth to avoid their shots.  This is designed on purpose to reward those that increase their skill with the game (the game rewards skill!)

4. Powerups are key - Powerups, powerups, powerups.  I can't stress enough how you should be going after powerups before attacking the enemy base.  Spend some time taking down aircraft and sinking ships to get their valuable powerups before going after the island bases.  Once you have Level 4 powerup and higher you can lay waste to everything from a safe distance.

5. Shields need to generate - When you pick up shields do your best to avoid getting hit while they are charging.  Once they are charged up you are virtually invulnerable.  Use the time while they charge to sink some ships and get more powerups.

6. Use bombs to take out radar and shield generators - When the enemy has a shield generator they are going to be very difficult to destroy without a lot of powerups.  If you don't have your weapon powered up, use bombs to take out the shield and radar stations.  Once they are destroyed the enemy buildings will be vulnerable once again and safe to attack.
